Vº73 is a brand of handbags, accessories and women's shoes founded in 2011 by fashion designer Elisabetta Armellin. The name of the brand came from Elisabetta Armellin's inspiration in her adopted city: V stands for Venice, where the idea came to fruition, and 73 is the year of her birth.
The brand has been part of the Miriade Group since 2019 and since its founding has experienced exponential growth being present in over 400 stores in Europe, the Middle East, Russia and the Far East, as well as a boutique in the heart of Venice.
As a global success, Vº73 presents Must, the first bag launched in the market, available in canvas with trompe-l'oeil print. Today, the collections have several models, suitable for both informal and formal occasions, with a design that evokes the architectural styles characteristic of Venice: colors, textures, lines, and details are inspired by the iconic buildings of the Grand Canal.
The scenery
The fashion segment represents about 26% of e-commerce in Italy and this is due to the fact that online commerce is becoming increasingly popular among consumers who have changed their habits during the last few years.
To get an idea, Italian consumers shopping online increased by 2 million during the first two months of the pandemic alone which emphasizes user penetration in the coming years. By the end of 2021, these users are expected to reach 59%.
In addition, new consumer profiles have emerged in the last two years making room for digital transformation in many brands leading to digital channel innovation to meet the needs of these new consumers.
With this, V73 has been experiencing an interesting growth in the market which encouraged the innovation of its digital channels, thus the brand sought our assistance to perform the migration of its e-commerce to a platform that enables scalability and possibilities to structure a unified commerce architecture.
The project
The technology chosen for the project was VTEX IO platformwhich is a cloud development framework that provides an exclusive microservices architecture and allows building high quality web software at a low cost. In addition, the VTEX platform has a complete structure to unify all sales channels, allowing the integration and building of unique experiences for the brand's user, providing the necessary support with omnichannel functionalities.
The project was developed through our fashion template product, a template with a format based on the best practices for e-commerce in the fashion segment. In addition, this project included the development of several applications and functionalities with the objective of meeting the client's specific needs. The applications were created:

The result
The new e-commerce of V73 has intuitive usability and well designed shopping journey, we developed several applications for the project that aim a better user experience and meet the main needs of an online store in the fashion segment.
The choice of platform positively impacted the structuring of the brand's omnichannel strategy, since it has all the necessary structure to unify its channels.
When we talk about performance, the site presents great results in the main metrics, such as Indexation Speed with a loading time of 2.0 seconds, First Content loading in 1.2 seconds, and Largest Contentful Paint with a loading time of 2.7 seconds, besides having an SEO score of 100.
