It may not seem like a revolutionary option, but many brands started the omnichannel concept by integrating this system, and noticed not only a high acceptance from their customers but also attracted the eyes of a new audience.
With that in mind, our team developed a new functionality for VTEX IO, which allows customizing several options in the buy box, impacting mainly sales related to subscription and Pickup Points.
About the need met by the functionality
The Custom Buy Box is an app that makes available, in a configurable way, an area on the product page with information related to product Subscription and Pickup Points.
The app makes available to the store administrator an area for module configuration, where it is possible to choose what will be shown and change the style of the components.
About the development
This functionality was developed by Codeby team using the Admin module from VTEX IO, to provide the configuration of subscription and pickup points. Together with React and Node/Graphql it was possible to create the entire flow of pick-up and signature processes based on the customer's zip code.
Results
The application is being used and the PDP with this new component brought more information about the delivery and pick-up of the product before the customer reaches the checkout stage, besides the signature functionality that uses the VTEX platform module itself as a base.
With this, it is expected that the customer has more detailed information about the delivery options of your product, giving you more security at the time of purchase.
