Pharma Co. is the new brand of the Integralmédica group, which has been building its history for over 35 years. Leader in the national market of sports nutrition, the group has signed a new commitment by expanding its products to a clientele interested in integrated nutritional and pharmacological solutions for the promotion of health, longevity and well-being.
With the proposal that was born together with the new brand of Integralmédica group, our team was called to develop the new e-commerce, which needed to be aligned with the purpose of the product line, and offer a good user experience.
The biggest challenge of the project was its short development time of only 15 days, so we chose to use our E-commerce Framework solution, which allows us to reduce the development time through a framework, and customize the look of the store with the characteristics of the brand.
This way, the project is developed in two stages, where first our team develops an MVP, followed by the evolution and robustness of the project in a second stage.
The solution met the project's needs, since the focus was short term, quality and efficiency in performance and user experience.
The project had a fast development, in only 15 days our team delivered an online store with high performance and using the best techniques in the market.
Aiming at performance goals, we applied the lazyload technique to the homepage banners, shelves and product pages. The technique optimizes the loading time of the site, since it only downloads the content when requested by the user during navigation.
Aiming to be a responsive online store, we applied in the project responsive banners and also product photos per device, which aims to save data on mobile, and finally, customized transactional e-mail that fits the user's screen. Relatively simple things, but that add value to the user experience.
In addition, our team implemented interesting e-commerce functionalities for the navigability and purchase journey of the new e-commerce:
Gridview 3 or 4, which allows the user to choose how many products they want to view the product shelf, making navigation more personalized.
Smart minicart, which allows the user to view shipping information, coupons or stock status just by consulting the cart, without leaving the navigation page.
Smart research, which optimizes the site's search, showing more specific results about departments, categories, without the need to load a new page.
Finally, we customized VTEX's native checkout to ensure that the user has the same visual experience from the beginning to the end of their shopping journey.
We developed the MVP of the new e-commerce of Pharma Co. which already has great results in SEO and satisfactory loading times, both on desktop with page loading in 1 second, and on mobile with page loading in 2 seconds.
The project is heading to the evolution stage, where our team will work with the goal of making the site more robust and with possible applications of new features, according to the expectations of the team Pharma Co.
