Recently the luxury clothing brand invested in the reformulation of its e-commerce, providing a more complete, intuitive, and fluid experience to users. Learn a little about this project.
The brand sought our assistance to realize the Platform migration The brand sought our assistance to upgrade its website, which was no longer meeting its expansion needs, to the VTEX platform. In addition, the brand's website was completely redesigned, based on a layout developed by One Up's team with the best practices of design and UX.
In addition to aiming for a new site, the project aimed to optimize performance and user experience, inserting a customized feature to add value to the online sales strategy.
The main points of the schedule for this project was the development of the Store front, with clean and high performance code, our team also used techniques aimed at mobile performance, such as mobile friendly, which makes the site adjustable to mobile device screens.
Aiming at the navigation experience, dropdown menus were inserted, organizing the visualization of each department of the store. And also a multilevel DropDown Menu, which shows the various categories within a department just by sliding the mouse.
Also to make the navigation intuitive, side filters were added inside the category page, where the client can find better options according to size, color, fabric, collection or exclusive products of the site. Finally, "Seen it, seen it too" shelves were added with suggestions of similar or matching products to what the customer was initially looking for. This type of shelf has great chances to increase the average ticket of the store.
One of the differentials of this project was the development of the "Buy the look" feature, where the user can buy complete looks suggested by the brand, without the need to search for each product in the store.
The feature enables this joint purchase, without the need to create kits within the VTEX platform, only needing to relate the products to a certain specification field, making it easier for both the shopkeeper and the customer.
The result is a site 100% focused on user experience, with high performance and intuitive navigation. In performance analyses, Oneup's new site showed a loading speed of up to 1.1 seconds and indexing speed of up to 1.9 seconds. Although not the focus, the site also has high SEO scores.
