Anyone who has become an adult and has not yet wished for everything that can be had in a kitchen, knows that he is doing it wrong. Jokes aside, kitchen items are gaining space in our lives, not only for their utility, but also style.
The Retro Kitchen, an exclusively online brand, has been betting on the retro style of its products since 2017. They are items ranging from decoration, utensils, cookware, and cookbooks, with that antique touch that many people love.
Scenario
As the business grew, it became clear that the store needed a more robust platform that allowed more freedom for its growth. Cozinha Retrô sought our assistance to migrate their store and develop their new website, focusing on performance and a more modern layout without conflicting with the brand's proposal.
The project
The migration and development of the new store was done in just 15 days, with only a few adjustments needed afterwards for the go-live. The choice of the Shopify platform was essential for this project to have a successful migration and great options to evolve the business.
The development
The site was totally restructured using the Shopify platform. Our team developed a simple but sophisticated template to meet the brand's proposal.
We added collections for each product category the brand works with, to help the user find what they are looking for faster.
The product shelf has more information compared to the previous site, we added an app where the customer can easily add the product to their cart or wish list, without having to load a new page. In this way, we ensured a more fluid navigation and less data usage, if accessed on mobile devices.
The brand also has a blog, to generate interesting content for the persona and contribute with SEO strategies.
It was a simple development, but with an amazing result. Besides a more attractive website, the brand now has several admin options to manage the business, with a more intuitive structure and a variety of possibilities.
Result
The Cozinha Retrô, now has a modern site with a simple and sophisticated design. The performance of the new site is one of the differentials of this project, loading in just 1 second on desktop and 3 seconds on mobile devices.
In addition, the brand's new website increased its organic traffic by 80%, with a structured SEO and the new content channel.
