Founded in 2006, Corpo Ideal already has several achievements in its segment, which makes it an innovative brand in growing growth. It was the first brand to broadcast live the whole event of the "Arnold Classic Brazil" in its site, besides acting as a partner of the event.
The Scenario
According to the IHRSA Global Report 2018 research, Brazil is the second country with the largest number of gyms in the world, second only to the United States. With this, we can see that the constant growth of the food supplement niche is due to the increasing demand for options to turbocharge workouts and improve diets.
Because it is an innovative brand, always seeking to be a leader in its segment and add value to its customer, Corpo Ideal sought our assistance to develop its first marketplace, with multiseller and go-live sales in less than a month. With this project, the brand became the first exclusive marketplace for food supplements.
The project
The project was based on the technology used in our E-commerce framework solution, which allows us to develop e-commerce with greater agility and reduced implementation time. We modified our solution to meet the needs of a marketplace, supporting multiseller sales.
The project was thought to contain all the technology and best practices of a mobile friendly site, with most of the available images being responsive. We added the lazyload technique to the banners and product shelves to optimize the loading of the pages.
Some features were added to the project to improve the site experience, such as the possibility to choose sellers, informative tipbar, brand carousel, and rotating banners and shelves.
For better site navigation, a search system and intelligent filters were used, allowing the user to more easily find the product he or she is looking for. In addition, some plugins aimed at site navigation were installed:
- Smart minicartSmart minicart: The customer is informed about freight calculation, discount coupons or stock status just by consulting his cart.
- Smart ResearchWe optimized the site's search for the user to have access to more complete results about categories, size or product, without the need to reload the page.
- Infinity Scroll: Allows the user to navigate through the product shelf without the need to reload new pages.
Finally, we customized VTEX's native checkout, so that the customer has the same visual experience at all stages of the purchase.
The result
The finalized project is a marketplace on the VTEX cms platform, which used the development base of our E-commerce Framework solution. The go-live of this project took less than 1 month and included an optimized user experience, well-structured SEO texts, and fast and intuitive navigation.
This way, we were able to achieve the goal of delivering a well-structured marketplace in a short period of time, ready to start the new Corpo Ideal operation.
The project used the possibility of setting up a marketplace in the VTEX Platform itself, which has several solutions for the shopkeeper who wants to turn his store into a marketplace or sell in other online shopping systems, all through account management.
