Like every year-end, a technology company has to prepare and study what technology trends should happen in the following year, to understand which paths to follow in the growth strategy.
We at Codeby did a very in-depth analysis to see the technologies that will dominate the market in 2019.
Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Artificial Intelligence is at the base of all innovations, precisely because of this it continues to be a technological trend, both for developers and maintainers of the technology the trend is that it will only grow.
I recently saw some very interesting work on programming automation with the help of AI, so why wonder, will jobs be lost with the growth of AI?
Professions are not in danger of ending, people just need to renew themselves to deal with the new opportunities that will appear.
Automation of Things
The concept of automating things, is quite generic, but very interesting.
It is consistent in the automation of everything that is possible, you know those boring tasks that you had to do and nowadays no longer exist, like driving, washing clothes, dishes, ordering food, ordering a cab and so on, we are just at the beginning of the automation era.
Technology that will be used to automate everything AI, IOT, Web.
The source of this concept was Gartner.
Augmented Analytics
For some time now, I have been commenting on the importance of using data to give direction in business.
Today the amount of data is absurd, we have so much data in so many places that it is very easy to get lost, at the same time, we already have several tools that work with data and facilitate the analysis.
When we talk about any analytics solution we have to think of two types of solutions for little data and for large amounts of data (Big Data).
The intention is that Augmented Analytics with the use of artificial intelligence and NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) prepares data to simplify the presentation of that data.
Imagine that the hard work of collecting data, separating correct data from incorrect data, and data processing all done automatically, different isn't it? How many nights have we wasted doing all this? (Automation of things is in this too).
Technologies that will be used for this Big Data, Machine Learning, AI Algorithms, Technologies for data collection and many others.
At Codeby we have an embryo working with Augmented Analytics for E-commerce.
Immersive Experience
In the last year we saw a lot of cool stuff, a lot of news with VR / AR / MR.
Just to refresh our minds:
VR - (Virtual Reality) Is the glasses that take you into a virtual reality.
AR - You can use virtual elements in real environments, for those who haven't used this technology yet, play Pokemon Go is a great way to try it.
MR - It's the mixture of both technologies, where you use virtual objects in real environments, that is, you could be in a real environment using virtual objects.
The junction of all these technologies forms an immersive experience, it seems like something out of a movie, but imagine using a notebook without having one? Or go to the office without leaving home? Or imagine having no body movements and being able to run again? This technology will solve several problems and bring others as a consequence.

Block Chain
For many known only with cryptocurrencies, these are systems that run via a peer to peer network, that is, 1 computer connected to the other performing a task referring to the same system.
The Block chain will continue to grow in 2019, with several very cool initiatives that will change the world, some examples is the air control done by a project in Block, another cool one is the tracking of government securities, but for me one of the best uses of block chain is in health, a case that I recommend reading: 5 cases that use the Block Chain in health.
Smart Places
A concept that uses IoT to make people's lives better, how many times have you stood in a line that all you needed was someone to call a new cashier? Or a street that always floods, a sensor that warns when it is time to clean the drains, even drones that help the police to identify the path of militants to avoid greater consequences.
All these examples are already possible today, we have AI, IoT, Big data all to do these automations that should happen in 2019.

Conclusion
Based on these techs, I believe 2019 will be a very disruptive year with several new areas for us to develop and grow our businesses!
